A typeface with a strong purpose 

In-House International is the creative studio behind notable typefaces like Brinca and Zanco. Recently, they launched Favora, a bold new typeface that blends artistry with an inspiring call for climate action.

SPAR3D also excels at predicting complete object structures with remarkable detail, simplifying workflows for prototyping and asset design. Available for free under the Stability AI Community License, SPAR3D can be downloaded from Hugging Face, accessed on GitHub, or integrated via the Stability AI Developer Platform API as well. 

Microsoft discusses their AI vision for 2025 

Microsoft’s announcement at CES 2025 was mainly focused on their vision for U.S. AI Leadership. 

Microsoft’s decision to invest close to $80B in the AI market in the U.S. emphasizes the transformative potential of AI as the cornerstone of the next industrial revolution. 

Their plan highlights a three-pronged approach to cement America’s dominance in the field: world-leading technology and infrastructure, comprehensive AI skilling programs, and expanding AI exports to outpace competitors like China.

During the event, Microsoft underscored AI’s potential to revolutionize industries, create jobs, and enhance productivity. Microsoft’s blueprint reflects optimism about America’s ability to lead in AI. 

Riding the Agentic AI wave, NVIDIA announces Llama Nemotron Models 

NVIDIA introduced the Llama Nemotron family of agentic AI models at CES 2025. The announcement from NVIDIA demonstrated these agentic AI models’ potential to revolutionize industries with autonomous decision-making and planning capabilities.

Agentic AI integrates large language models (LLMs) with advanced reasoning, perception, and action modules to achieve complex goals autonomously. These systems are designed to adapt and improve over time through feedback loops and multi-agent collaboration. Therefore, they are considered to be ideal for applications in sectors such as healthcare, finance, manufacturing, and logistics.

The Llama Nemotron family excels in a range of tasks, consolidating specialized functions into a single customizable model. These models – available as Nano, Super, and Ultra variants – are optimized for various computing environments, from RTX PCs to data-center-scale operations.

Panasonic Well announces AI-drive family wellness solutions 

Panasonic Well takes a bold step towards enhancing family wellness with the launch of Umi. Umi is an AI-powered digital wellness platform from Panasonic which is powered by anthropic’s Claude AI.

During the opening keynote at CES 2025, Panasonic Well CEO Yoky Matsuoka and Panasonic Holdings Group CEO Yuki Kusumi introduced their vision for a comprehensive wellness ecosystem designed to tackle the challenges facing today’s families. This initiative builds on over 100 years of innovation from Panasonic Group and focuses on using AI to support holistic wellness for families.

Umi is a personalized family wellness coach that integrates AI, expert advice, and actionable insights. It is reportedly built with advanced reasoning capabilities and the ability to offer personalized suggestions for each family member. 

Samsung announces Vision AI 

Samsung Vision AI powers next-gen intelligent screens, redefining personalization and connectivity across a comprehensive TV lineup, including Neo QLED, OLED, and The Frame. 

At CES 2025, Samsung Electronics unveiled its latest breakthrough, Samsung Vision AI, which introduces intelligent, adaptive screens designed to enrich daily life. 

Vision AI transforms how users interact with their TVs, offering a seamless, personalized experience across Samsung’s most advanced TV models.

Reportedly Vision AI brings to televisions AI-powered features like Click to Search, Live Translate, Generative Wallpaper and others. 

Salesforce welcomes the Agentic AI era 

Salesforce unveiled their strategic plan for the launch of various innovation to embrace the agentic AI era. Their announcement outlines the evolution of AI agents and how these can transform the applications of AI for enterprises. 

According to Salesforce the first stage of this execution is going to be about specialized “monophonic” agents. The second and third stages will be “Polyphonic” multi-agent orchestration and “Ensemble” agent networks for cross-business applications. 

Additionally, Salesforce stresses that businesses must establish robust oversight and responsibility frameworks for AI decision-making.

The Grok iOS app is here 

News about Grok’s smartphone app has been floating around for a while now and the app is finally here. Given that Grok has undergone a lot of changes recently including the introduction of image generation and other features it’s picking up pace in the competitive AI space. 

However, all these features were only available within the X app until now. To change that and to allow instant access to Grok without downloading the X app, xAI has announced the launch of iOS app for Grok. currently available in the U.S. the app will soon be launched in other regions as well.
